The North State Building Industry Association (BIA) is a professional trade organization, whose goal is to secure a more favorable economic environment for homebuilding.

Through participation in BIA, the diverse members of the building industry are united into a dynamic institution with the power and expertise to confront and obtain solutions to a multitude of building-related problems.

The BIA proudly represents the following 20 county areas:  Alpine, Amador, Butte, Colusa, El Dorado, Glenn, Lassen, Modoc, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou, Sutter, Tehama, Trinity, Yolo and Yuba.
